I have always found most of these so called free to play games to be quite annoying.  Generally speaking, they lure you in by telling you that it is free to play, and then they expect you to pay in order to move forward in the game.  Basically, you have to pay your hard earned money in order to be able to progress through the game in order to beat it, and you will often end up paying a whole lot more money than you would if you just bought a game.  This is why, in my opinion, many of these types of games are really shady.  We have even seen this in-game purchases thing get expanded to a lot of AAA games that you have to pay sixty bucks or more for, and that is something that I find terrible, as I feel that it is a horrible business model and one that people ought to stay away from.

There is good news, however.  There are many people out there who feel the same frustrations with these sorts of games as I do, and so they have dedicated their time and effort in order to make sure that people are able to enjoy these games without wasting hundreds of dollars on them.  Yes, some of these games are actually fun, it is just the fact that they expect you to keep paying them that gets so annoying.  I recently stumbled upon a website at https://www.imvucredithack.net/ that actually gives you a whole bunch of tips and tricks, as well as hacks, that will allow you to play IMVU without having to buy all of the extras in order to enjoy yourself.  This type of website is nothing that is really new, and these sorts of sites exist for a number of different games, but they are extremely helpful if you want to play some of your favorite games without blowing your budget on them.

As I said before, I think this is a horrible business model for game developers, but as long as it is one that allows them to make large profits, they are going to continue to use it.  The only times in which these major corporations change their habits is when their habits begin to affect the bottom line, and that is why being able to mod or hack these games in order to do whatever you want with them is one way in which gamers and consumers are able to fight back against this horrible way in which these companies do business.

I definitely encourage everyone to take advantage of sites like this so that they can not only fight back against these greedy business models, but also so that they can have a good time in the process.  As time goes on, and more and more people take advantage of these sorts of things, we can hope that these game developers will change their practices and stop ripping people off.
